Public Bank keeps harping on “procedures, procedures” — yet when we ask for a proper checklist, there is NONE. Different staff give different answers, and in the end they suddenly demand a birth certificate just so I can collect my late father’s deposit money.

My 65-year-old mother had to make three separate trips to the bank — and only after the third time did someone mention this requirement. Absolutely ridiculous!

This is beyond incompetence — it’s a disgrace. How dare you keep repeating “we must follow procedures” when you can’t even tell customers what the procedures are? Making an elderly lady walk back and forth three times because your staff can’t give consistent information is shameful.

Good customer service synonomous with Public Bank but poor thought to the layout of the customer service as very inconvenient for people with wheelchairs or old people to climb up 6 flight of steep stairs to goto customer service. More of a customer inconvenience.

Very bad attitude and service. I complained about those transaction in my card was charged twice, and their response was that “the system is like that.” That means if you make a RM5000 transaction today, your bank must have at least RM10,000 to be held by the bank. And bank will return to u after few days.

hello this bank needs to know what is proper service. I waited more than 1hour for customer service for a trivial matter that could have been easily handled online?!

There were only 2 customer desks while there were tonnes of customers. and each time EVERY one of them took close to 20mins? while the staff were taking their own sweet time Pls stop wasting our time PB!! ridiculous!!!

I opened a fixed term deposit this morning and I was completely impressed with their professionalism and customer service, especially the lady from the ticket counter and Faziah Binti Che Ani, they both went through every details and make sure I understand their products, they also out of their way to help me to complete my requirements.

The RCB upstairs is very slow.I waited 44 min for my turn when they are only 2 customers ahead of me.Altogether it took me an hour just to uplift a FD.This is slowest service I have ever experienced at PBB.The normal counters that I go to is pretty efficient Won't visit again
