Tried to apply for a loan. The PIC ask for statements and payslips. Then kept quiet for a month and a half. When asked for update, she ask me to provide few more documents.
Why don’t you ask for it earlier and why you kept quiet? Ok fine I do this and that plus few extra so that when she asked for it later I had already have it prepared. Then she told me I have to open an account before I could proceed with signing. Ok fine I’ll do that.

Went from Klang Valley (I lived here and the car I wanted to buy is in Melaka) to Batu berendam through a 4 hours traffic jam only to be told that the extra step that I took should be done before I applied for a loan, not after. Thanks for wasting my time and my resources. This all could’ve been avoided if the PIC inform me all of these earlier. Gonna terminate my saving account soonest.

Brought son to open savings account for education purpose. University tied up with PBB, so it's compulsory to open for future PTPTN application purpose. Attended by officer at Counter 10. Officer was very friendly and efficient. In fact all staffs were very friendly. Thank you for the excellent service.

This “special care” counter is super duper useless
I still need to wait for counter 10 (customer service) with really uncomfortable chair ; it really hurts my back. Only 1 counter available for the service?!!!!

And i can see 2,3 staffs are just standing

After 1 hour then another 1 counter open.

Staffs are not helpful

So what is the real reason for that special counter?!!!!

Today 9/5/24. 13:50 - 14:15..Really disappointed with the service at Public Bank today. The lady at counter 1 and the one at counter 9 were incredibly rude. They didn't answer my questions properly and their explanations were incomplete. It felt like they didn't care about helping customers at all.
Honestly, they should pack their things and find a job they're actually suited for, because they're not cut out for customer service.
Public bank, Please send your staff for proper training on how to handle customer inquiries. They need to learn how to communicate with people from all walks of life.
On a positive note, big thanks to the Malay guy sat behind the counter 1 who actually understood my questions and helped me out.

My son did his car loan with Cynthia of this branch. As usual, text messages and calls don't want to answer. Don't know what's her hp is for. Once she replied, she was rude. Loan documents signed since end July 2024, but till now, no updates nor documents received. How do these people work in a bank? I hope the Manager reads reviews.. the first and last time dealing with Public Bank, Batu Berendam branch.. terrible Cynthia ..

This public bank has the worst car loan department I have ever encountered. Each time I approached the counter the personnel were unwilling to serve me and give me an unwelcome look. They are not friendly and not helpful. They are also very rude! If not because my loan is going to end soon, I will definitely get a new one.
This is not a recommended this bank for a car loan.
