在參觀加帛的菜市場時，我驚嘆於當地人對新鮮食材的挑選方式和傳統工藝的延續。市場裡到處充滿著熱鬧的交談聲和各種食物的香氣，攤位上擺滿了來自河流、森林和農田的珍饈佳餚。一位老婦人熟練地清理著剛捕獲的淡水魚，另一邊的攤主則熱情地向顧客介紹新鮮採摘的野菜和香料。這些食材不僅反映了當地人的生活方式，也展現了他們與自然的緊密聯繫。

This market is one of a kind. Some jungle vegetables and fruits aren't found and seen at Kuching local market or even at the neighbouring state, the Dongonggon Tamu Local Market at Penampang, Sabah.
I was very excited to sample one jungle fruit somewhat looking like bird eye chilli and tasted like kiwi + asam texture.(in pic).
I was told that it goes well with Sambal belachan( shrimp paste sambal). Pairing this with fried fish will make one forget his love's name. So, i was told 😂
Very interesting.

The vendors are chatty but polite, patiently introducing me to some rare vegetables.
One can find beading works, and kelulut madu(honey) here.
The very intricate and fine works of beadings in the picture are actually local costumes. There's another beading handicrafts situated next to a school, just a short walking distance away from this market and Kapit Meligai Hotel.
Do explore this place if you're in Kapit.

Interesting wet market, lots of local jungle product.

Last time used to be full of exotic products here,but now not anymore as it is an offence by the government

比起以前人潮少了许多。据说地方政府也禁止商家售卖野味了。

A totally different wet market where you could find a lot of exotic foods such as wildboar, snakes, wild cats, deer, etc and varies type of unusual local veggie and fruits. 👍👍👍

Market teresang adalah sebuah market yang memudahkan penduduk Kapit untuk mendapatkan barang keperluan asas seperti sayur-sayuran segar,ikan,ayam dan segala keperluan memasak.

Great place to shop all ur daily necessities at this wet market. They even got eateries at 1st floor and some saloon and groceries as well. Good tourist spot when you’re in Kapit
