Dropped by Affin Bank PJ and was honestly surprised to see it almost empty. No queue, no crowd !! You would think that means quick service right? Nope.

The service counter staff were chatting away with customers even after they were done, like it was a kopi session. Meanwhile, the rest of us just sat there... waiting. The pace was unbelievably slow. Staff walking around like they had all the time in the world, zero urgency.

The malay guy at the entrance was glued to his phone the entire time. Even when we approached him with a question, he barely looked up and just mumbled something, then went right back to scrolling. No interest in helping.

So disappointed with the staff, came to the branch to terminate account, she is so unprofessional. She mad because my signature was slightly different with the one I did long time ago? It still the same sign what? Also when she stapled the documents, the staple bullet flying away Please assist your customer nicely, she at counter 1, please do better.

Worst Affin Bank branch. Went there withdraw my FD and the branch manager saying there is no bank teller available to process the withdrawal. The branch manager Peter Jose telling that tellers has gone for lunch and it's was about 2 30pm. He telling if you do new FD they can process but not withdrawal. He was very rude and sarcastic and just walk away and telling me to go other branches.

Came in to sign a hire purchase agreement; Officer had prepared everything and was very efficient. As part of the requirement I had to open a bank account, the officer in charge; Farhana, was very professional and had lovely customer service manner. My husband, who is Singaporean, even ended up getting a credit card while he was there with none of the usual hoops that he usually has to jump through as a non-Malaysian. Impressed with the service and professionalism.

Waited for 40 minutes as the counters attended to 2 other customers in front of me before I could withdraw some money from my savings account on 14/9/22. Sent a friend to the same branch to have his FD renewed the following day and the snail pace service continued. The security guard at the entrance kept telling every customer that come in that it’s going to be a long wait even though not that many customers waiting. Systems problem or human issue?
