Très bon hôtel proche de l’aéroport et à 15mn de Pantai Cenang.
Les chambres sont propres et spatieuse comme il faut. Il y avait juste le shampoing et gel douche qui n’ont pas été remplis.
Petit déjeuner varié et copieux
Commerces à proximité.
Très belle piscine avec bar également.

Séjour génial, hôtel à 10 min de l’aéroport, hôtel super propre et personnel au top et respectueux
je suis obligée de retirer une étoile pour la clim… elle avait un gros problème, elle s’éteint toute seule et il fait littéralement 30 degrés dans la chambre, on l’a signalé mais rien n’a été fait…
De plus, surprise et déception qu’à la fin du séjour on ai été facturé de 32€ supplémentaire pour nous avoir changé les draps que nous avions tachés avec une crème anti coups de soleil.. Nous sommes tout de même resté une semaine et pour le reste tout était nickel
Mention supplémentaire à la piscine qui se trouve sur le toit de l’hôtel et à notre période il n’y avait presque personne donc nous avions la piscine pour nous tous seuls !
Buffet de petit déjeuné assez varié et bon.
Resto, fast food , pharmacie et laverie juste en bas de l’hôtel donc très pratique

The hotel is quite new, about two years or so, therefore the rooms are very nice and kept in good condition and clean. The A/C was very cold and hot water showers were great! A 7Eleven is located right below and a pharmacy as well. The pool was nice also and free continental breakfast with local and western choices. The only downside was the Nescafé coffee option.

A real gem of a hotel. Location is convenient, provided one has a rented vehicle. It is quite a distance from Pantai Cenang. Plenty of eateries and convenience stores in the vicinity.

Very friendly staff throughout the hotel, front office, kitchen and wait staff as well as housekeeping personnel.

Rooms are well equipped with nice practical features and items. Well kept and clean.

Breakfast was surprisingly nice with a wide selection of items, local as well as international breakfast fares.

Well worth the price for the room. Highly recommended.

On the last day of our trip, we had booked Smith house, due to its close proximity to airport.
However our experience was series of unfortunate events & unprofessionalism of receptionist.
* (after check in formalities) upon asking for help with luggage- "we are a 3 star hotel, we dont provide help with luggage'
Although I did see luggage cart next to the reception.
So while my husband got all the luggage, i found it difficult to hold the heavy door open for him as i had my baby in the other arm. Despite seeing me struggle, none help to hold the door open was provided.
* on reaching the room we asked if here were bigger rooms still available & if we cn see, before moving in. The receptionist asked us to come down to the reception only to take us back to show us the bigger room next to the room we had booked.
* on seeing the bigger room, I told my husband to pay and upgrade & sat on the bed, as i was very tired travelling and holding my baby. Upon which the receptionist yelled at me saying -" Hey! Don't sit. You pay, you sit. No pay, no can. The bed is not clean after u sit, who clean?
( he was loud) my child clung to me & his behavior and attitude came as a shock.
*i wanted to note his name to raise concern on his outburst byt he quickly realised & hid his name tag.
*At the reception his colleagues were gatekeeping him. They wouldn't give us his name & When asked to meet with the manager- they said "the manager isn't available. Wouldn't help us with the managers number either.
The receptionist stayed hiding in a room behind the reception. After explaining the situation to his colleagues -they say asked if it'd be alright if he apologised. ( i kept wondering, if he didn't have the basic courtesy to do that on his own) after nearly what seemed like an eternity, he came out laughing and said sorry- i smile for you. ( i really didn't get the attitude of the guy. )
We didn't feel safe there.

When we did manage to get the number of the manager, he/she didn't bother answering the call. Well, we moved out immediately. Must say for a little more price one can find pleasant & safer place of than Smith house Lankawi. I hope the ppl at Smith house take this seriously & do take actions against this guy and train their staffs better.
We couldnt get the receptionist's name, but We do hv the photo & video of the receptionist's behaviour. If Smith house is interested to make amends in their hospitality, i hope they take action against him .

A 4 Star Hotel that deserves a 5 Star ratings!!!

As soon as you enter the hotel you are greeted with a smile and pleasant front office staff
Then from that onwards all was great and comfortable
Room size yes its consider small but when you enter its super clean and lots of amenities and you forget everything else.
Water pressure good. And toilet is also equipped with necessities.
Buffet breakfast was good and also with basics need.
Overall the experience was very good and surely return again. Thank you everyone that makes my stay comfortable and memorable

« Notre séjour à The Smith House a été une très belle expérience. Dès l’arrivée, nous avons été accueillis avec beaucoup de gentillesse et de professionnalisme. L’hôtel est moderne, propre et décoré avec goût, on s’y sent immédiatement à l’aise. Le petit-déjeuner était copieux et varié, un vrai plaisir chaque matin. La piscine sur le toit et l’emplacement pratique ajoutent encore au confort du séjour. Nous avons vraiment apprécié le service attentionné et la qualité des installations. Une adresse que nous recommandons sans hésiter ! »

Parking was easily available, but one end of the road exiting the area near the reception was blocked off, so be aware if you are driving. Check in was a breeze, but since the hotel is located on the top floor of a row of shophouses, be prepared to walk because the lobby is at one end, so if you get a room at the opposite end like I did, its quite taxing. There's only one lift from the lobby but the room was quite well appointed. I like the idea where the shower and toilet is separated and there's a sliding door system that's quite unique. The breakfast spread was quite good too, there's variety and some unique dishes, like fried chempedak batter with sesame seed.
