Service is horribly slow. HSBC should do something about their service speed. Cut down all the unnecessary chitchat. I can hear a lot going on. Im just number 2 on the queue, has been 30min but still not get called…!

Terrible waiting time, seems like only one or two counters were open and there were more than 10 people waiting.

Would give zero stars if possible, but the one star is for the lovely security who kindly guided me on what to select for the queue ticket.

What’s the point of making an appointment online when I reached there 5mins BEFORE my scheduled appointment. Waited for 20mins still no sign of calling, approached the counter and was told that my number should overwrite all the existing walk-in customers. After another 5mins of wait, my number was being call-out manually.

I really hate coming to the HSBC branch. Banks have a habit of conveniencing themself over customers. Systems are designed by someone who never goes to the bank and prioritise ease of programming over customer needs. Look, most customers who come to the bank are transacting large amounts and over 40 yo. First, you make us scan a dumb qr code and fill in nonsense to get a ticket. This is one piece of useless and unnecessary rubbish. It doesn't make the queu shorter or service faster. They do this for the sake of digitalisation. As if this particular word will make the world a better place. Next, the service is still conducted by the same human who is ill trained and sprouting the corporate excuses for either not going the extra mile or even helping you solve simple issues. Today I had to wait 1 hour. What's there to love. HSBC sucks. More than most banks in Malaysia who already have bad service. They simply care even less becos they are an international bank and thinks people dont have enough money to warrant their attention.

Bad leadership in this Branch. Completely lagging behind in term of the service provided in this branch compared to the other branches (even as Premier Customer). Came here to do true certify for identity related document where other HSBC branch does it for us before but they don't want to do it. And, we have also come here for other types of transactions before and the service is horrible even for premier customer. Completely different experience from other HSBC branches like the ones in Jalan Sultan Ismail.

Do not bank here. Shortstaffed, unskilled and uncomitted to taking any kind of request seriously. Forget any kind of wealth management. This feels less like a bank and more like a glorified call center where all they do is show you brochures.

Average waiting time is 2 hours.
