The worst tat I experienced. The banker even says I can go other bank if I can find any tat is still open.

SCB ah SCB, google shows 5pm close. Reached there at 3:40pm. While waiting for no., saw guard stopping other customer says close at 3:45pm. Ding dong, my no. appeared on the screen. Got myself seated and the banker picked up a customer call chat for a while. After tat I told him I wan to open an account. He walked away and came back asked if can come back tomorrow coz their system will auto shut at 16:00pm so cannot open account 😨

Their door close at 15:45pm and system close at 16:00pm. Din know bank will hv 15mins to wait for no, tell what we wan to do. Mayb tat 15mins is for chit chat only 🤣 Win liao loh!!!

This is at the Klang SC branch. I live overseas & forgot my password. But when I clicked on Forgot Username/Password, I was supposed to be emailed a Temporary Username & SMSed a Password. This didn't happen I guess bcos I didn't have a local number. Tried calling the 1300 number.. Couldn't dial through. Called the hotline but it wouldn't recognise my IC or my debit card number. Called my Relationship Manager(RM) but he declined my call & never called back despite my leaving msg as to nature/urgency of my problem. Called 2 other numbers that I had for staff at the branch but no one picked up(all international calls).

This was not the first time I faced these problems... When I first opened my account, I also had problems entering the Temporary Username/Password due to system problems. The very next day I flew to JB to visit my sister.
My RM didn't tell me he was going on vacation or designate a backup for his customers while he was away. The staff at the JB branch tried to help me till till I had to return to Klang. I was so impressed with their customer service. When I returned back to Klang, I couldn't complete my opening of my SC Mobile app until the day before I was flying home. It was a last minute rush to setup everything.
This is the most horrible banking experience I have ever encountered in my life.

This time around when I forgot my password, Alson Pong from the JB branch, helped me over the phone & I got my Temporary Username/Password setup quickly. Thank You Alson. Great customer Service.

Terrible service service at the Klang branch. Tan Chee Hong(Jin) from Klang branch still hasn't called me back

I wrongly trust on investment plan offer by SCB collaboration with Prudential. I just learnt my harsh lesson. I bought PRUSignature Boost plan 15 years plan via my Scb RM in this klang branch in year end 2023. Due to health reason I opt to surrender this plan in year end 2024. The surrender value given by scb RM via whatsap communication with print screen totally different from what Prudential agent given. Due to this communication between Scb and Prudential I have suffer lost of more than RM6k. Reason given was Prudential system calculation is different by their actuaries. And prudential have change the premium system from yearly to monthly deduction from my saving account without notification. Even scb RM is not aware of this changes.

Not to say on this investment plan which I felt being scam, this scb klang branch Relationship manager RM and her superior manager offer the service is suck. They used to procrastinate customer time. Only 1 RM is available to serve me. The RM can on leave 1 week and no pass down job. Other RM or customer service will not entertain me. And when seek for help, they will keep saying they are busy and let me wait. Even to update the FD slip or to collect the renewal card also I have to visit few times to scb to get the things done. And this is under preferred customer service centre. I really cannot accept this kind of lousy service given from an international bank.

My advise to the CEO of SCB Mr. Mak Juan Nien, you really have to look into your branches organisation. We as your customer our time is also valueable. With this kind of services your bank offer, you don't have to waste time doing road show interviewing people to comment on your SCB service.

This is the worst bank I ever met. The online customer service is so poor. It is very hard to reach customer service if you called. And even after call, the customer service people will ask you to perform all the action through their app and their app is not user friendly at all. I want to update my address so that I can receive my card but there is no way I can do it. Came to this outlet and the counter service is also as lousy as its help line service. Too disappointed. Decide to terminate my card.

Friendly and knowledgeable customer service officer. She explained the online refund process clearly and also delegate my case to PIC for new account opening.
