I had a very disappointing experience today. I visited the bank to open an estate account related to my late sister’s account. The front-line staff failed to mention that it was a joint account with her late husband. Since my sister’s name alone was printed on her physical debit card, there was no indication that anything was unusual.

After taking my number, I was attended by an inexperienced customer service officer who clearly had no prior experience handling estate accounts. She kept referring to her notes and, to my disbelief, even suggested that I should withdraw the money using my sister’s banking app — as if I would have her ID and password.

I waited patiently for two hours, hoping to settle everything today. After all that time, she finally informed me that it wasn’t possible to proceed because the account was jointly held with my brother-in-law, and his executor would be needed as well.

This could have been identified and communicated at the start, saving me significant time and frustration.

I have a SDB account here for more than 10 years. I have totally forgotten that the new due date was on 1st Jan and I have insufficient fund in my savings accounts. I was worried that I cant open the box. I called up to check and I was attended by Ms Lesa. She advised me to top-up the fund and will manually deduct the fees. I did that. She swiftly did the necessary things and informed me once done. TQ LESA. U DID A GOOD JOB.

Bad experience. More than 1.5 hour of waiting time and it’s still counting… Not much of customers but VERY SLOW. Please expect to allocate at least half day here if you want to complete your fixed deposit placement.

The aircon is cold of this outlet, which is good..spend some time here for doing my bank thing, not too fast but no need to wait like an hour or something, just ok. They have the staffs that can speak Malay, Tamil, English, Mandarin and Hokkien, so no worries for language problem for any senior customers...still better experience for me if compared with M or C bank. (Usually more than 1 hour if I do anything in M, C little bit better, for my own case of course)

Carpark is on your luck, just see any place you can park beside the road.
